Since the Vietnam war was a very energy straining war and this compound made it somewhat easier to focus.

This compound has effects that only certain chemicals in the brain which are neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters are known as chemical messengers that neurons use to communicate with each other. The neurotransmitters are soaked into small junctions between neurons called synapses. The older the neurotransmitter the more effect it has on the brain. Dextroamphetamine slows the rate at which two different neurotransmitters are pumped out of the synapse.
